Coming in October: Angel Travelers News - Faith in Action
Something new is coming to Angel Travelers Books next month!
In October 2026, we are launching Angel Travelers News: Faith in Action, a new feature created to celebrate children, families, and community members who are making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Every day, people are showing kindness, serving their communities, overcoming challenges, encouraging others, and using their gifts for a greater purpose. These stories may not always receive widespread attention, but they deserve to be recognized. Angel Travelers News will share these inspiring stories while connecting each feature to a biblical principle or Scripture. Our goal is to help children and families recognize that qualities such as faith, courage, compassion, generosity, leadership, obedience, and perseverance are not limited to Bible history. We can still see them being lived out today.
Introducing the Young Difference Maker Spotlight
One of our featured segments will be the Young Difference Maker Spotlight, recognizing children who are making a positive impact at home, at school, in their church, or throughout their community.
A young difference maker might be a child who:
Helps meet a need within the community
Demonstrates kindness or compassion toward others
Shows courage while facing a challenge
Uses creativity to solve a problem
Encourages other children
Serves through a church, school, ministry, or community organization
Demonstrates leadership, perseverance, or a love for learning
A child does not have to accomplish something famous or extraordinary to make a difference. Sometimes the most meaningful impact begins with a child recognizing a need and choosing to help.
Parents and Guardians Can Submit a Story
Parents and legal guardians will be able to nominate their child through the Angel Travelers Books website. The submission form will ask for information about the child’s actions, accomplishments, character, and impact. If a child is selected, the parent or guardian will be contacted before anything is published. The child’s full last name will remain confidential. No story, photograph, video, voice recording, or identifying information will be published without additional parent or guardian authorization. Submitting a nomination does not guarantee selection, but every story will be handled thoughtfully and respectfully.
Real People. Meaningful Impact. Timeless Truth.
Angel Travelers has always been about helping children experience biblical history and understand how the choices made long ago still speak to the choices we make today.
Angel Travelers News will carry that mission forward by showing children that they do not have to wait until they are adults to live with purpose, serve others, and make a difference.
Be watching in October for our first Young Difference Maker Spotlight and information about how to submit a nomination.
