Why I Write as a Christian Author: My Mission Is Bigger Than Best Seller Lists

As a Christian author, my goal has never been to make the New York Times Best Seller list or to get a spot on the Oprah Book Club. Those accomplishments may be exciting for some — and if God ever chooses to elevate my work that way, To God Be the Glory — but that’s not why I write.

I write to show families what biblical application looks like in everyday life.

Through my Angel Travelers children’s book series, my heart is to help parents teach their children about obedience, faith, character, and walking closely with God. We live in a culture full of noise, distractions, and traditions that don’t always align with Scripture. My desire is to create books, devotionals, and family resources that help bring clarity and truth back into the home.

Whether my book reaches one child or one million, my mission stays the same:

  • Teach biblical truth

  • Strengthen families

  • Plant seeds of faith

  • Help children understand God’s Word

  • Encourage parents to lead spiritually

This is what drives me as a Christian children’s author.

So while best-seller lists are nice, they’re not the finish line.

Obedience to God is!

If He chooses to elevate these books, may He get all the glory. But if He uses them quietly, one household at a time, that is more than enough.

Because one transformed heart is worth far more than any award.
